The innovative facility offers therapy to children with developmental disabilities,
including treatment for autism spectrum disorder.
For the second time in less than three months, Breakthrough Behavior celebrated the grand opening of a new clinic in Central Florida. The facility, located in Kissimmee, is one of the only providers of applied behavior analysis (ABA) in Osceola County. The clinic is situated adjacent to UCP of Central Florida’s Osceola Charter School and inside the community mall Plaza Del Sol. Families and children will have access to private treatment spaces, specialty tools and resources, and one-on-one areas designed for ABA therapy, psychological testing, social skills interactions and more.
“Serving families in southern Orange County and Osceola County has always been a priority for Breakthrough Behavior,” said Breakthrough Behavior CEO Maegen Pierce. “But today, we now have a clinic they can call home. We look forward to making a greater impact in this region with this new facility.”
The clinic is located conveniently near Interstate 4 and John Young Parkway (3831 West Vine Street, Suite 60, Kissimmee, Florida 34741) and has been customized to the needs of Breakthrough Behavior and the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control. This includes divided work and play spaces, private bathrooms, hand sanitizing stations and an open layout to maximize social distancing guidelines.
Breakthrough Behavior now operates three clinics in Central Florida, including facilities in Downtown Orlando and eastern Orange County. Nationally, the organization also services patients in California (Monterey County), Virginia (Stafford County, Prince William County and Spotsylvania County) and Maryland (Montgomery County).
