The facility offers treatment for children with autism, ADHD, Down syndrome and other developmental disabilities
Breakthrough Behavior celebrated the grand opening of the organization’s new clinic in Soledad, California, today. The state-of-the-art facility features private treatment spaces, specialty tools and resources, and one-on-one areas designed for applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy, speech therapy, developmental testing and more. Breakthrough Behavior also becomes the first and only provider of ABA services in south Monterey County, and offers the only treatment clinic in the region.
“Our goal is to serve as many individuals and families as possible,” said Breakthrough Behavior CEO Maegen Pierce, “and we understand the challenges that come with traveling long distances multiple times per week for your child’s treatment. We hope this new location will be more convenient for all the families we serve, as well as offer a better experience that results in more successful outcomes.”
Conveniently located near Route 146 in Soledad and Exit 302 on Highway 101, the new clinic is situated in a well-appointed shopping center, which features retail shops, a pharmacy and many food options. Inside the space, families and children will have access to an experienced team of behavior analysts, clinical psychologists and speech pathologists, as well as a facility designed to maximize meaningful outcomes and social skills interactions. The clinic has also been customized to the needs of Breakthrough Behavior and the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control. This includes divided work and play spaces, private bathrooms, hand sanitizing stations and an open layout to maximize social distancing guidelines.
Breakthrough Behavior now operates three clinics in Central California, including facilities in Monterey and Salinas. Nationally, the organization also services patients in Central Florida, Virginia and Maryland. Most recently, Breakthrough Behavior was named an accredited provider by the Behavior Health Center of Excellent (BHCOE).
